We have known Artusa Eduardo for many years, when he ran his own pizzeria in the heart of Tropea. But to say we weren’t excited to hear he was going to be head chef at ‘Ristorante Hedo’ was an understatement.
We dined here many a time and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and exquisite food along with the family local wine!
Eduardo is a master at his craft. Don’t miss his seafood antipasti made up of different presentations, depending on what is fresh, that gives you a wonderful understanding of his culinary range. All of his dishes could easily compete with some of the best restaurants in the world. The swordfish involtini and, likewise, his swordfish or tuna Secondi, again, depending on what is fresh, with orange, pistachio and walnut cream are so sublime.
There is a reason Hedo only gets 5star reviews from all the locals and holidaymakers visiting Pizzo. Totally worth a second and even a third visit.
Make sure you add a visit to Hedo on your travel bucket list this summer, you won’t be disappointed.
